Pricing FAQ
Why is BYOK cheaper than Pro?
On BYOK, you pay your own provider bills directly, we don't mark them up. The $9/mo covers aiDex itself (orchestration, history, document collaboration). On Pro, we pay the providers on your behalf using your monthly AI Credits, so the $19/mo includes the LLM costs.
What counts as one 'call'?
One call = one LLM API request. A single team turn typically uses 3-5 calls (one moderator decision, 1-3 agent responses, one consensus check). Document review adds 1 call per agent per document.
What happens above the cap?
On Pro and Power, once your monthly AI Credits are used up, additional calls are billed at cost plus a small service fee. We log every call with cost details on the Usage page so you can see exactly what's adding up.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, upgrade and the new tier kicks in immediately (prorated). Downgrade and the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds?
We refund unused time pro-rated if you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription. After that, you keep access until the end of your paid period.
